This Privacy Policy explains how the Tarkwa Nsuaem Media Excellence Awards ("TNMEA", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information submitted through our nomination platform and website.

By submitting a nomination or otherwise using this website, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type and general usage data, to help us maintain and improve the website.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to process and review nominations, verify nominee email addresses, communicate with nominees and nominators about the status of a submission, shortlist and judge entries, and organise the Awards ceremony.

Photographs submitted with a nomination may also be used in promotional materials connected to the Awards, as described in our Terms & Conditions.

4. Email Verification

After submitting a nomination, a verification link is sent to the email address provided. This link is used solely to confirm that the submission was made with the knowledge of the associated email address and to complete the nomination process.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with the organising committee, the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly, and judges involved in the Awards process, strictly for purposes connected to the Awards.

We may disclose information where required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a competent authority.

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain nomination information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the current edition of the Awards, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it may be archived or securely deleted.
